From time to time parents may feel aggrieved or have a particular concern that they may wish to share with the school. Below is a copy of the school's complaints procedure which follows the most up to date Welsh Government Guidance.

POLISI CODI A DILEU TÂL Mae’r corff llywodraethol yn neilltuo’r hawl i godi’n llawn ar rieni am y canlynol: •pob gweithgaredd a drefnwyd y tu allan i oriau ysgol •difrod i lyfrau, adnoddau neu eiddo arall sy’n perthyn i’r ysgol, yn deillio o gam ymddygiad disgybl •deunydd ysgol mae disgybl yn eu colli, e.e. llyfr darllen sy’n llunio rhan o raglen ddarllen yr ysgol. Mae’r corff llywodraethol yn neilltuo’r hawl i godi’n rhannol am y canlynol: •gwersi offerynnol •difrod i ffenestri, drysau a gosodiadau’r ysgol a achoswyd gan gam ymddygiad disgybl neu ddisgyblion. Mae’r egwyddor na ddylai unrhyw blentyn gael ei atal rhag cymryd rhan mewn unrhyw weithgaredd o ganlyniad i anallu neu amharodrwydd rhiant i gyfrannu tuag at y costau, yn cael ei gefnogi gan y llywodraethwyr. Maent hefyd yn cydnabod y bydd yn rhaid talu am y gweithgareddau hyn o du allan i gyllideb flynyddol yr ysgol. Mae’r corff llywodraethol yn neilltuo’r hawl i ofyn am gyfraniadau gwirfoddol tuag at gost y gweithgareddau uchod a rhai tebyg megis teithiau addysgol a chludiant i wersi nofio. Rhaid i gyfraniadau fod yn gwbl wirfoddol. Os na ellir cynnal gweithgaredd heb gyfraniad gwirfoddol, yna eglurir hyn wrth rieni. Mae’r pennaeth a’r corff llywodraethol yn neilltuo’r hawl i ganslo gweithgaredd a drefnwyd os yw’n ymddangos y byddai cyfraniadau isel yn golygu colled sylweddol. |
CHARGING AND REMISSIONS POLICY The Governing Body reserves the right to fully charge parents for the following: •All activities that are arranged outside school hours. •Damage to books, resources or other property belonging to the school, arising from the pupil’s misbehaviour. •School materials that a pupil has lost, e.g. a reading book that forms part of the school’s reading programme. The Governing Body reserves the right to charge partly for the following: •Instrumental lessons. •Damage to the school’s windows, doors and fittings caused by a pupil or pupils’ misconduct. The principle that no child should be prohibited from participating in any activity as a consequence of a parent’s inability or unwillingness to contribute to the costs, is supported by the Governors. They also recognise that the cost of these activities will have to be met from outside the school’s annual budget. The Governing Body reserves the right to request voluntary contributions towards the costs of the above and similar activities such as educational trips and transport for swimming lessons. Contributions must be wholly voluntary. Unless an activity can be held without voluntary contribution, then this will be explained to the parents at the outset. The Headteacher and Governing Body reserve the right to cancel an activity that has been arranged if it appears that low contributions would involve a substantial loss. |
